Artist's Comments
In science class, we were studying sharks, and we watched a video about them. On the video, they showed tourists visiting a reef and the sharks that lived there.
My friend and I watched in amazment as they grabbed their tails, flipped them on their backs, and stroked their bellies without the sharks reacting in any way. Later, we learned that this was possible because sharks go into a relaxed and sleeplike state when flipped on their backs. I found that hilarious and drew this. EDIT: FINALLY! I have breathed new life into this picture with the aid of Photoshop!  It no longer sucks in an amazingly horrible way!  Say what you will, but this picture gives me a sense of great satisfaction and relief!  |
