Into the Woods

As I've already mentioned, I'm in my school's musical production of Into the Woods by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine.

Because it would not be appropriate for the cast and crew to show up to rehearsals and such naked, every year, a shirt is designed to celebrate another year of sucessful stage production.

The design is selected through a contest. Although this piece of information may shock you, I'm positive that you will live to tell the tale.

In any case, I entered this baby in the contest, and I managed to win the honor of having it be the design used in the advertising! Yes, ~TwoFishCat, ~theOtakuAlchemist, and ~otakubox25, my self-confidence is in fact slowly beginning to rise.

I would've submitted the colored version if it weren't so terrible.

I suppose this would be placed in the "fan art" category... wouldn't it...?



The significance of the items shown are as follows:

The Book- This play is a mix of fairy tales.
Little Red Riding Hood's Cape; Cinderella's Glass Slipper; Jack's Cow, Milky White; Rapunzel's Braid- These items are all key ingredients for lifting the spell that prevents the Baker and His Wife from having a child.
